Since our incorporation back in 1995, we have been helping our clients both import and export their freight to Portugal. Based around our stone & ceramic import service, we provide a one nation Portuguese haulage service that covers all aspects of logistics, from pallet delivery to full container load deliveries. Due to the sheer volumes that we import from Portugal back to the UK, we can offer very competitive rates on all groupage, part and full loads, depending on your specific requirements.

With partner depots in Aveiro, just south of Porto, Maia and Lisbon, we are well-positioned to cover any freight from Portugal, including from Porto, Faro and the South and Lisbon. Our weekly groupage service departs every Monday and Friday with a transit time of 5 days to the UK, whilst we also operate a direct service for any larger part loads and full loads. If you are looking for a quicker solution, we can also offer a next-day service for up to 1300kg with a transit time of 38hrs or a 2-day service. Our Portugal express freight services are for any urgent or time-sensitive cargo, especially if you are working with a tight lead time and have no time to spare.

As of the 1st of January 2021 customs clearance is now required on all goods entering or exiting Great Britain. Here at Plexus Freight we have been working hard to ensure that all our client requirements are met. Ceramic & Stone Imports from Portugal

We make daily collections throughout the Aveiro region, meaning that we can make multiple collections and consolidate them back at our partner depot for shipping to the UK. We have had clients for over 20 years who have put their faith in us to import their stone & ceramic material into the UK. With twice weekly departures, we can offer very competitive tonnage rates whilst always keeping up our high levels of customer service.

The port of Porto also allows us to ship goods via 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers with a transit time of 10 days door to door for sea freight. This is ideal for an economical shipping solution when you are not pressed for time.
